right now we have 59 in san rafael. 58, san francisco. 60, san jose. we had some very strong winds, as i mentioned at the top of the show, gusts close to 60, 66 miles-per-hour. the winds now shifted to the west northwest and have definitely calmed down. westerly at sfo, 10 miles-per-hour right now. here is a look at our forecast. kind of have to plan your upcoming work week. it will be clearing and much cooler overnight. we do get a dry day tomorrow and then more rain will move in by mid-week. here's a look at the lows tonight. with all the saturation, we'll definitely see the development of fog in protected valley areas but it will be cooler. upper 40s in most locations. so the next storm system is the one -- this is the one that moved through this morning, and here's the clearing tonight and tomorrow, and then you can see the second system and this will bring us more rain on tuesday. throughout the day on monday, though, we will continue to be dry. 8:00 a.m. tuesday morning when this moisture will start to feed south. in the north bay to start. and t

san francisco dropping down to 51 degrees. this is what i wanted to show you for about five days but haven't had the chance. cbs 5 high def doppler is dry and will stay that way until wednesday. here is how much rain fell. in the north bay mountains, i can't believe this, they had 6- 14 inches of rain over five days. sonoma county had 5-9 inches of rain. on the peninsula, including san francisco, 3-6 inches of rain. inland along the 680 corridor and the east bay, you also had 3-6 inches of rain but it is done. it is finished. there is no round four. here is something interesting. the rainfall is pushing off to the east. look at what is coming up next. it looks like the -- it looks like the system is heading toward us. but here is one deflector shield, if you will. high pressure building in to the south and west that will take that moisture and shove it up to the north. so high pressure will dry us out giving us partly sunny skies tomorrow and mainly cloudy but still dry on tuesday. on tuesday night into wednesday that there is

north of san francisco, tremendous amount of rainfall there. some of the rivers up and over the top of their flood banks, and that will continue today. sacramento river is still under flood stage, and they're releasing some of the pressure from some of the dams across northern california, as well. some dramatic stuff there. our next pulse of energy that's about to come through, but also look at how much rainfall, can actually fall in the bucket. 17.50 inches in petrol yoo. sterling city over a foot in a five day period. seattle and portland, rain and snow in high elevations. not raining over northern california. that's good news. snow levels came down just a little bit to about 5,000 or 6,000 feet. that helps with some of the moisture up in the mountains. it could have been worse. here what our next computer model shows the next batch of rain. starts off in seattle tonight and then drifts down towards san francisco tomorrow. probably not as much rain as what we've seen, but certainly enough to continue to do some damage. the other issue today,
